This horror illustration is inspired by a piece of ttrpg media, The Peachyville Horror. Among the varying plot points that mix cosmic horror and 50’s small town americana, there’s a moment of confrontation where one of the main characters, Francis, takes vengeance for being bullied into his own hands. Using his newly acquired (and secretly possessed) gun, he maims the classmate that has made his life a living hell.

While Francis is certainly a morally questionable character, this scene was simply so compelling with such strong visuals in my mind that I had to bring it to life in my own interpretation.
