This drawing is a fresh take on an old piece of work. The original piece, despite being dated, had something compelling about the emotion and tension it showcased— so I decided to redo the piece with the skills I’ve since developed. Using perspective, texture and evocative linework, the tense surrealist scene came to life. I’m very happy with the end result, and look forward to incorporating parts of the process from this piece into future work.
